The other day I heard the timing chain noise the it went away, I immediately ordered the tensioner and it came in the mail today. I'm debating on putting in tomorrow but as everyone nothing ever goes to plan when working on **** lol so I don't wanna mess anything up then I can't drive my car to the beach. It hasn't made the noise sense the other day so I might do it when I get back from the beach. Has anyone put a tensioner In before? I've read some threads about just would like some more input on it

For those who haven't headed over yet, cops were all over today. Rt 50, Rt 1, US13, and US113 were all crawling with cops. I got in three races already with people out on the highway. Beat up on a catfish and a 3v mustang, then got spanked by a c5z.

Everytime I go to pass a cop I just push in the clutch to quite it down. I already got pulled over for my exhaust, 70 dollar ticket but no repair order so w.e I'm keeping it on

It's going to pour most likely. .
Which sucks since I'm driving down there tonight and our lsj intakes sit quite low.. :/

A radar detector is really only going to help against state police. Most local police don't use them. In PA it's not even legal.

all radar detectors do is tell you that you're about to get pulled over most likely the cop saw you a mile away and is just waiting for you to pass them.

Lol. I guess I've been lucky. My detector has saved me a lot of tickets. I usually cruise 50 and 113 about 75-80 (still get 35mpg, 2.2 ftw), and just hover the brake. Never gotten a ticket. My day will come I'm sure. The only thing that sucks is a lot of DE state boys around here have laser now.

..and hyperflash fixed. Now that its not bright as **** out I could see the taps weren't tapping. duh. But, the scary thing now is the misfire code was legit.

****.. I'm glad I don't live in PA. I'm sure they'll use it here eventually. They won't have to make detectors or radar illegal, they'll just make them useless.

..yeah, why is radar illegal up there? I never heard the reasoning.

woah. I just read that radar is illegal because the PA gov't didn't want police depts. abusing it to just generate revenue for their towns. If that's really the case then that's the most logical thing I ever heard from a source of government.

only the pa state police use them, mostly on the turnpike or other big highways.
