Do you ever get messed with by the cops for your tint? I got 5% on my car, just not sure how it's gonna fly up there lol

5% is prob pushing it around here, BUT from my experience if you do get trouble for it, you'll have the option to rip it off and go show them [either the officer @ the station or take it to an inspection place and have them sign the paper that you ripped it off] OR pay the fine...from what i've heard, it's cheaper to pay the fine than rip it off and redo it however, i havent really heard of anyone i know getting pulled over for solely tint, although apparently they could lol usually they'll get ya for something else and then throw the tint in there too.

we got pulled over in May for speeding and the State Trooper gave the bf a ticket for the speeding and just a warning on the windows & license plate cover...woulda rathered it the other way around!

I've never gotten hassle for my tint. That is 5% on my car. I usually have my front windows down anyway during the summer and I got the car is April or may.

 

Yea I forgot about putting the windows down! It's too damn hot in Texas!

I've gotten pulled over solely for my 20% tint before. I wouldn't go any darker than that honestly.

 

I have his config file. Just log with that and email him. I used it for Codys last time we logged. Its a great config file.

 

I dont have a laptop or anything so I would have to borrow all your stuff until you got back.

 

Anyone in the LHV area willing to log me and/or allow me to use their HPTuners when I switch to e47 soon?? I'd rather not have to drop 5-600 on top of the 350 I am already gonna spend on a different tuner. And just out of curiosity, does anyone ever go to the Sheetz on Shoenersville??? I hate being the only Cobalt there every time I stop by.

yea i really haven't had the time or energy to get out and just hang out somewhere for a meet unless it's big and on a weekend. even if i have off regular work i have so much other stuff going on so even weekends aren't always 100% free.

Yeah man every time I stop by after work or whenever it is always the same people. Yellow Gti, White Sti, Grey Sti, White Genesis, TCs, Acuras, various other VWs... Kinda lame. They're all cliquey and don't really care much for cobalts. Anyway, does anyone know anyone with HPTuners in the area?? I am trying to be on e47 soon, but I need a cable to use and log with...
