You'll have to come out to a meet at the Waterfront sometime. A few of us go out to the car show in Irwin on Saturday nights a good bit as well.

Anyone wanna help me out tomorrow? I need to install my heat exchanger, phenolic spacer, spark plugs and intake. Could use some help!

i'll be around my house till about 2:30pm. then i have to clean up an head to work. the heat exchanger can be a pain sometimes. running hose isn't that hard, did u get the option B and extra tank, and dual pass? the phenolic space an ur intake will take all of an hour, max...usually, lol

 

I work evenings as well. I gotta wrap up the work on this civic before winter, also got to wrap up some work on my car. Not to mention 9months till i get married.

i was considering stopping up at the wawa this sunday morning before yall leave but not too sure, 9am is pretty damn early. lol. altho i'm looking forward to the macungie thing that we did last year.

No, didn't do the heat exchanger, I was scared once I read the coolant is a pain in the ****.

And no header/dp yet, that's next.

I only have heat exchanger and phenolic spacer. The dual pass is on back order

 

Hawk HPS pads and ZZP drilled and slotted rotors go on Friday!!

How much did those run you guys? I was thinking of getting R1's premium slotted rotors and am torn between stock pads and HPS when the time comes.

 

well if u need a hand doin the h/e let me kno, the hardest part about option B is the vent cap on the factory h/e breaks off an then u have to rethread it for the vent, biggg pain in the ass.



as far as brakes an rotors. I have Kinetic rotors cross drilled an slotted with Powerstop pads. Kinetic is a powerstop subsidiary I believe. I researched them before I bought. I got my set on ebay, all four rotors an pads for 200$. they still goin good. just my opinion anyway.

 

Yeah, do what Kevin said. I paid $600 for rotors and pads from zzp. I dont have time to search for cheaper stuff. Need these brakes good by Saturday.

 

I did what Kevin did... $106 for Powerstop rotors and pads for the rear. It was $110 for the front set.

Also I don't have option b yet, I was going to wait until I can order the dual pass. But I do need help with the h/e. idk what I'm doing with draining and filling the coolant
