I drove my car in winter the first yr I owned it. and after that I decided I wanted to try and keep it new as long as I could. I know it is just a cobalt. But I take pride and joy knowing I have kept my first brand new car looking so damn new for going on 7 yrs. so I am a big advocate of winter storage.

my car has seen snow every winter since 07, now the past 2 years it's been garage kept and only driven in snow for emergencies or if i had to drive home in it but it's still clean
also saw a black ss/sc in the 512/191 industrial park this morning, i was driving the white dump with trailer and pointed.

Exactly. Boom.
My beater last year had me spoiled. Dude sold me his 98 Mazda protege 5speed for $400 that wouldn't shift into any gears and he couldn't figure out what was wrong with it. Took me 3 days to find the problem. The shifter had a main cable that went into a ball for all the gears. The main cable broke. It was a $5 replacement. It had every power option, heat, 88k miles, got it cheap, and it ran better than new. Later that rear both rear calipers locked up and the brake lines needed replaced. Couldn't justify spending that type of money on it. Haha. Sold it for $800...

Depends... if you don't have a place to park it, you have to pay for the storage, so then you're not saving anything.
Plus we get to have fun all winter, you guys don't
Also... for my other wheels (not the ones in this picture) I wanted to do some plasti dip cause I don't like the brown anymore... what about this color
:O
