haha anyone who's installed their STS(specifically B&M, but they've gotta be generally the same anyway)

trying to install on friend's ss/sc

Buddy lined up the cable on the right, which latches to the bottom of the shifter and made the mark before doing anything.

Now we've put everything in the car and connected the cable but reverse does NOT work. 1st through 5th works fine but it just will not go into reverse.

The plastic peice that connects to the shift and the cable feeds in to will bump into the cable's sheath on the other end when you try to put it into reverse and then the mark will be off by an inch.

Hard to explain..anyone got an idea though? Lol

 

who needs reverse. when ever you want to back up, just put it in neutral and push the car backwards...lol...jk.. seen people do that before, who's reverse didn't work. was funny to watch lol.

 

so this civic last night with some cooool decals all over his lower driver side door was taunting me, i started to get scarred a little bit because it said JDM, VTECH, SI, and NOS on the side. so i'm sitting at the light on street road and knights and biting my nails in fear. the light turned green and he dropped the hammer and i rolled into first to prevent spinning, i'm at half throttle and i hear his VTAK kick in so i'm like DAMN i gotta build 6 lbs of boost to beat him. so i put it in second and put my throttle at half throttle again and i was only at 5 lbs... but where was the civic he wasnt in front of me. so i looked through my passenger side view and there he was trailing to keep up lol. so i shut it down at the end of 2nd and we get to the next light. to be a nice guy i rolled down my window and said i was giving it ALL i have dood. nice civic i didnt think you would keep up. he said haha thanks. i turned left onto Hulmeville road(RT. 513) and went home. lol too funny

well i was debating to just accelerate and let him stay with me than actually let him win so he could tell his friends he beat a ss/sc by a car, than they would all talk smack on him saying he is a liar and etc... but i figured i'd just let him tell the thruth KINDA and so now he can say he only lost by a car... his friends will then say the ss/sc wasnt even trying...

 

these days , i don't waste my time with cars that i know are slow, unless they really **** me off....

dude becareful when you go down there......a lot of cops, especially undercover cops.....make sure you know how to make a sweet escape when the cops show up and break it up...but im not going cause im going to some party tonight...

 

That happened to my aunt's PT Cruiser last summer and we had to push it backwards everywhere. It was quite a sight.

i would go there, but lots of stupid people go there, and mess around to much. last time i was there 2 idiots crashed. 1 was racing and the other was backing up from the side walk when the race was happening, and hit each other.

i seen a red SS/SC with exhaust last night around 10:15 crossing RT. 13 heading west bound on RT.413 aka New Rodgers Road. I was like NICE. i think it had red tint too but i was going straight so i couldnt go stalk it and see who it was. Hey also guys i opened a thread up in Drivetrain... yea i shifted from 1st to 2nd normal acceleration without the clutch without and grinding or anything. i did it 2 more times to make sure i wasnt high or anything and going crazy and it did it perfect. i dont do it no more cause idk if thats bad for the synchro's or clutch. but yea def no grind AT all actually shifted better than i shift lol. i think they call that powershifting or something idk
