thought it was the roll pin... nay the dealer said further diagnosis will have to be done and my tranny will be dropped... what the H... i never had a gear slip or a gear grind... why all the sudden?
dood i still have a stock clutch on a stage 2... obviously its not abuse, stock axles... etc... know how many people needed new clutches and what not on this forum after staging? thats cause of abuse... i dont grind my gears nor have they ever slipped. i dont even go into boost during the week unless maybe 5lbs getting on the turnpike... abuse is out of the question
your clutch is your clutch and your tranny is your tranny. the clutch is just the connection between the engine and tranny. I've already had my trans replaced do to bad support bearings inside the final drive. The fact of the matter is we all own GM's which is some of the worst product out there so we have to deal with it.

yo this ****** sucks not having my balt... i feel so empty inside. however i can say this over and over this friggin rental chevy aveo is BANGIN on gas. i'm about to buy one as a daily driver lol for real
idk, ok thursday night. i ran a ws6 or w.e.... NO tranny issue prior to the run. never before at all have it slipped or popped out of gear... i get done running him. my shifter becomes REALLY loose. i can barely get it in gear or anything. i get back to sonic park up... turn the car off. we look cant find anything wrong with the shift tower or linkage. someone suggests its the roll pin... because i could move my shifter as if i was stering a thing of stew... take it to the dealer well towed it there... i suggest to them it might be the roll pin... they look at it etc... didnt find anything wrong between the shift tower/linkage or anything. they tell me they have to drop the tranny and look inside... thats all i know right now. there is no possible way i blew my tranny cause i would at LEAST have one gear... i only ran up to 3rd anyways... by 3rd he had lengths on me... so wheres 4th 5th and reverse? i dont think my tranny is shot for that simple reason. i have lost a tranny before in my old car and yea i had 1st 3rd 5th and reverse... 2nd and 4th were gone somehow... pos ford... anywho... anyone have any reassurance comments or something so i'm not so worryfull lol thanks

Disconnect battery
Remove fuse box
Locate roll pin at base of linkage
Use a pin remover and bang out old one
Put new one in
Put everything back and voila...better than before
I'm thinking about replacing mine just because it tightens everything up
