Philly Area Chat thread
here we go with the backyard mechanic comment......or you can just do you and stop commenting on what i do how bout that....what if my car blows up, its none of your concern plus you had meth and decided to sell it now you are gonna go buy another meth kit waste of time.....plus i remember you talkin about havin too much power in a fwd car and yet you went and bought a srt4......see where im gettin at ......
yea great eric....thx for the heads up......and im guessin you wont cause you have a ottp tune and such right???....just to prove you the contrary , when you free this weekend so you can data log my car and you'll see exactly what i mean.....but you know you are entitled to your opinion
i kno, its just im tired of people dissin the intense tune...of course its not a perfect tun cause its a canned tune....the noly reason i got it was to put my 60's and then get a better tune and eventually spend frikkin 500 bucks for a dynotune(loll pointless)....and one thing you forgot is nozzz is a coolin agent......

I'm just busting your ***** to so no need to get all pissed over nothing. All I am saying is that so many people on this website have popped their engines using intense tunes. It wouldn't cost you any more or any less to get a tune from zzp or ott to get a base for the 60's. Also I'm pretty sure you can take your car to Tune time and spend a lot less than 500 for a custom tune. Hptuners other than doing case relearns for people is totally done with I'm not tuning/modifying/logging anybodies cars for liability purposes. Not being a dick about it I just don't want the responsability that goes along with it. Finally Ish your a good guy and you know what your doing and you can absolutely do anything you want to your car and you will hear no grief from me anymore joking or not.

yeah i am available for suing for blown motors no problem there. As far as my car goes who the **** knows. Everytime the guy finishes the manifold something got tweeked during welding. The last I heard the manifold was done and all he had to do was make an elbow for the boost bypass valve and then powerdercoat it and he was shipping it. Man I don't even want to talk about it I've been looking at my damn car on jackstands for nearly 2 months it really ******* blows.
custom cnc'd intake manifold and using an air to air intercooler. The guy who is making these lives in connecticut and has made a few but I will be the "guinnea pig". I will be putting up a full build thread with plenty of pictures. I'm stepping down to a 2.6" pulley and once I get the tune all dialed in I will be dynoing the car. At first atleast I do not plan on using meth and am hoping for somewhere in the 280hp range and with meth installed closer to 300hp. Of course now that I said this I'll probably dyno 240 so I'm not getting my hopes up for anything.
oh and on a side note i received a phone call today from a certain somebody telling me the results of a particular race between two people on this thread. I just want to say to the loser of the race, I feel ya one of us has to take this guy down its time to push the king off of the mountain. And to the winner I think I am the only one who actually predicted this even though I wouldn't mind seeing you lose every once in a while haha. You do deserve some props for your driving skills I can never take that away from you but your car I think is posessed by the god combustion engines or something.

^^names?
On a side note, I put my TTR engine mount on tonight and with the 2 miles of test driving I did on it I love it. Definitely has more vibs but I think it actually feels kinda cool and I think it makes your engine sound a little bit louder too. But maybe I'm just crazy. I'll probably do some real launch tests with it tomorrow but I did a few tonight (Jimmy was in the car too) and it feels great. Didn't launch too hard, but zero wheel hop. It's quite win.

Ross, HID kit for the fogs I ordered didn't have any qires to go to the positive and negative terminals for hook ups, I was confused at first, but then noticed it's all grounded internally. No ghetto wires lying across the engine bay!
Started working on the retros, should have em done by Sunday
Let me know if you wanna meet up
