Philly Area Chat thread
so really nobody is trying to run him? its quicker than u guys think i wouldnt lol at it honestly maybe if it was a ms6 thats hilarious. and the vette was a 6 speed, i/h/e with a 120lb driver. still waiting for a ss/tc to step up to the plate
ok so typical mods & generic reflash tune, roughly around 300whp if he's lucky..... considering the weight of the vehicle..... at best it's a low-mid 13 second car. so a bolted & good tuned SS/TC would have no trouble with it
Tell him to meet up with Oscar. He is from MD but he's not TOO far from the Philly area. Im sure he will have all he can handle with him... I ran him on the highway in my swapped RS with a big turbo and couldn't hang, I started to pull up around 120 but we ran out of road lol. (I also found my up pipe gasket was missing a chunk so my spool was VERY late, like 5200)
found out what some of the problems were
1. gm techs left 1 bolt off my lower intake mani
2. gm techs cross threaded 2 sc bolts into my lower mani
3. 2 head bolts snapped off into the block

WTF how do they mess that up? At least you're getting it back though!!! So is everything going to be up and running like it should?

i hear that, its the whole flat rate pay. get the job done as fast as possible and who gives a **** if its perfect as long as it leaves
Ross, I asked Tommy who did my car about yours and he said with the choppy idle check some vacume lines, a good way to do it is with a spray bottle with soapy water and with the car on mist on some line and see if it idles smoothly

Cool, I'll try giving it a whirl. I wouldn't be surprised if my EVAP issue had something to do with it too
