good call eric... im going to say slim to none. i'll launch mid-high rpm and slip the clutch. def not trying to drop the hammer or should i? idk i never ran dr's idk how they hook... im gonna go to the drag racing section and use the search button to see everyones technique and ill go from there
well typically dr's work best in rwd automatic cars because there isn't a huge shock to the tires typically like in a trans brake or stick car. The problem your going to have is if the tires don't grab 100% and you start to get wheel hop. You are a million times better at launching these cars then I am so you would know better after a run or 2 how hard you think you can launch without running into issues.

Cobalt stock axles are pretty shitty so depending how hard you launch, there's a good chance you'll break them. I know a few people who have snapped axles just driving normally and a few that snapped 'em on the track while running DR's. I wouldn't put DR's on a car until you have Some Stage 2 axles.
yea but my car is a factory freak... only thing bad about it is the rear rotors. after spirited driving in new hope or a few hard braking from high speed it just rubbbbbs the rotors over and over. i have yet to replace the rear rotors though. i think thats the problem haha. stock rear rotors FTMW

There's a bleeder line so you don't have to leave it off. But as long as you're sure nothing can get in there leaving the cap off would probably be fine.
