Damn, another bad ass meet in Moorestown. This thing is getting larger every week. One guy lost count at around 186 or so. I seen a couple Cobalts roll in, I usually park my TBSS right next to the road coming in and going out, right next to the GTO guys..

honestly unlike my current car I plan on being very responible with this car and actually drive the speed limit/ close to it

 

^^That's what I said the first day I had mine haha. But seriously, I used to race it at the philly meets, but I'm not really into it as much anymore. Not really worth it. I just drive normal, every now and then I'll get on it a little it, but nothing crazy.
Does make for some good 150mph stories though.....

Sooooo.... I was driving home a few minutes ago from a friends house and there was a car ahead of me who turned so I had a lot of open road so I kinda stepped on it in 2nd. Then I shifted to 3rd and around 85mph the car just kinda started bucking like it does if your bouncing off the rev limiter. But I was only at 5000rpm. Don't know if it was just a fluke or what. But the car has been smelling a little weird lately too. Idk if it's just the dying clutch or something worse. I'm concerned.

ummmm...if your car smells like your burnt rubber or that funny smell, its most likely your clutch....its funny, everyone that i know that have a ss s/c have their cluthc slipping bad or worse....mine is gone but i can still drive , i got one spare clutch but i don't have time to put it in...also, do your rpm go up really fast when you prress in the gas and it feels like you are in neutral??

 

Nah everything was accelerating fine like normal until like 5000-5500rpm and it just kinda got confused for a sec so I let off.

And yea, our stock clutches are the worst things ever.

 

you know our clutches are gay when i went to the dealership about my clutch, the dude said you better off with an aftermarket clutch cause GM even said our clutches are weak..and by bucking, you mean kinda like when you in first gear and you let go of the gas, that bucking??

 

Kinda. It's hard to describe. It's somewhere in between that and what it feels/sounds like when you bounce off the rev limiter.

Busy and tiring haha. I just hate how every week I can't wait for the weekend and it finally gets here and all of a sudden it's Monday again. We need a major holiday soon to get some extra days off haha. But my b-day is next Friday (08.08.08) so I'm trying to get that off because I HATE working on my birthday haha. You can ask Jimmy.

 

yea im not working on my birthday either, i already scheduuled it off and we are 2 months away from my bday...lolll...i gotta do my oil change tomorrow and change my brake pads......how is the job?? and you still got my keys....lolll

The job is good and yea, oil change might be happening this week since it's been a while.
