yea guys bad night for me......i was driving and all of the sudden my car stop moving.....i had to call the tow company and john kennedy got my cobalt sitting out front waiting for them.......it ****** sux dude......i don't even know what happened.....this is nut...again my car is going back to the shop......

 

Did it feel like something happened or did it just shut off?

 

me and ish had long night... lol his car broke down... and i lost 2 races to an asian bastard (my friend) lol ... but then i beat him couple times. the loses were not cool.... ish hope you get your car back soon.

 

it just died?? no warning? any odd noises??

 

it didn died...i was at the light and i started moving , next thing i know my car bogs and i hear a noise and my car wasn going anywhere......clutch is good and everything cause when i engaged the clutch and give it a lil gas ,the rpms go up and the speedometer goes up too..the only problem is im not moving.........

 

sounds like a driveshaft to me...that or the transmission output shaft

 

yea i was thinkin the same thing.......that should be under warranty right?? cause i took it back to the dealership that did my clutch so they should warrranty their work....

depending on what they determine is the actual cause, absolutely 110% should be warranty. I don't know for sure without being under it, but, based on what you described, sounds like a driveshaft which should be warranty. Don't let them tell you otherwise

 

ok, thx man.....cuase if they said its not under warranty i will be really pissed......its funny cause yesterday i took it in for service , cause i kept hearing some weird noise in the car and the dude told me that it was just a bolt on the caliper that was loose....and then this happen ....
