hey is anyone going to see pinks this weekend there is one 2night (oct. 12) and another tomorrow (oct. 13) both start at 3... im going to the one tomorrow night (oct. 13) anyone else going to that one lemme know maybe we can meet up!

wtf pinks is a really good show but its mostly muscle...i've only seen a crx on there once and it was against a bug...wtf. ONCE in my life.

they need to do some serious tuner races cause thats bull.

there was one with tuners, it was rice vs american muscle, civic turbo vs formula, with meth and nitrous, civic had problem after probllem and the Ponitac killed him each time, i believe the final race was 15 lenghts and no nos for the Formula and the civic still got whooped :lmao:
and they say domestics have problems!

 

civic snapped an axles on the launch in the last race.

 

I was gonna go, but I don't feel like dealing w/ all the hicks that are gonna come out of the woodwork...

 

yea and i believe either the formula or the civic stripped 1st gear and had to launch in 2nd, it was the formula right?

well, if you notice almost everyone there has old ass cars that they probably got for dirt cheap, through a few grand in it and called it a day. you don't see any new cars or anything too expensive because there's a good chance you won't leave with your car. most tuners are like us on this site, love their cars. think about it this way, would you gamble your cobalt on pinks? i know i wouldn't.

 

make sure u do a lot of boo'ing, the host is a dick...some of those guys put much much more money then u think into them. after seeing a friend lose his car first hand because that ******* was all in it for ratings i will never watch it or see it again...so unfair.

yea. wheres this gonna be. i thought i heard someone say lebanon, ny. but i mapquested it and theres two, one in orange county and one in madison. if its in orange i might just go. more details?

 

its in west lebanon, ny.. if you go on the taconic its the last exit b4 albany.. i live right utside poughkeepsie... it takes me about an hour and a half to two hours

yea, i used to think it would cool to see tuners also. if you didn't lose your car at the end, i bet it would be almost all tuners.

 

but either way the speed channel mostly focuses on muscle and street bikes like theres no such thing as a tuner...only like 3 tuner shows...and hardly that.


i think i should film my own tuner challenge at biflo =D
if they would let me drop my arms and flag some races =P
