New Hoosier A6's came in today too... looks purrty.
TireRack still has Kumho SPT's in stock. $98 per tire in my size for the 18's.

i did mine online via h&r block. income tax return went to them first and they then deposited the monely directly into my account. i wonder if that slows the process down at all...

Since it wasn't a true direct deposit from the IRS, you might be getting a paper check. I'd call H&R Block and ask if their thing would slow your check down at all.

Need help from fellow forum guys!!!

Ok guys here is the deal I live like 35min from down town Pittsburgh and I want to paint my headlights. I dont want to **** up so I was wanting to know if anyone around the area has done their headlights (meaing painted them) and has had no problems with them including leaks. I would like to do a mod day or something.

Please let me know guys...I have already done one mod day with Fresh and RedlineBlueline and it was a good day.

Thanks!!!

My advice would be to watch eBay and or junkyards and pick up a spare set "just in case." That's the whole reason I never did anythign with mine, don't want them to end up fucked up.

oh and Psychocam: painting the headlights is not that big of a deal to do. the worst part is to get them apart.... i used to have a leak or something in one of mine before i even painted them and after i painted them (well dave mostly) i havent had any moisture at all.

chad - you have the how-to for painting the headlights right? that's what i followed as well. i think i baked mine at around 150 degrees for about 15 minutes or so each. if you find that they are still a little tough to pull apart at that point you can always through it back in the oven for a few minutes or use a blow drier. at any rate, clean up as much of that old silicone as possible and get yourself some black silicone from a hardware store or advance.
a helpful tip, maybe, would be to put the headlight back in the oven (or blow drier) for like 7-10 minutes after you have painted and reassembled the headlight in order to heat up and seal them better. then apply another bead of silicone around the outside to reenforce the seal. i wish i would have done that with mine.

Hey what's up???? How ya been????

BTW - notice to all Pittsburgh people (mostly people north I think) - One Lap of America comes to BeaveRun on Friday so be on the look out for some badass cars in the area Thursday night and EARLY Friday. Namely there's a new GT-R and the Challenger SRT-8 from Vanishing Point (at least I think they're still running) plus a couple of badass Corvettes:

And YES that will be driving on the road, not trailered.

Your best bet at this point is to try to drive down to an Irwin Car cruise at some point. I dont think there are enough cobalts/redlines left to warrant a big meet.... We've only ever had 2 i think.....

Saturday is looking like my first track day of the year at BeaveRun, so I'm out for this weekend.

I knew they were still in it, I thought they'd just repaired the car. I know they drove it off the track under its own power and I thought they'd made it to the next event. Kinda cool though, car domain did a blog feature on my ex and his dad and their OLOA trip this year.

I still have mine, Al still has his, Brian still has his, Dan still has his and 2.4 Dan has his. Other than that there aren't too many left. Wes' car is gone, your car is gone, silver Dan's car is gone, Mike left for the military. So yeah, we've got like 5 cars left from the original group.

EDIT: Should claify. Redline Mike left for the military. Not red, formerly blue, LT Mike.
