IMO that doesn't look too bad. BTW Steve, make sure you talk to Jeff ahead of time and try to get him to open a date ahead of time. So your car doesn't sit there for 3 months just for clutch, instead only 1 month.

That's awesome. When I was first looking at bikes last year, I wanted an SV650s. One of my long time friends has a 2003 model. I think that was the last year before they switched to fuel injection. They're awesome for cruising around in the twisties. So much torque. Plus, they sound amazing with a good exhaust on them.

 

2003 was the first year WITH fuel injection. So far, I love it. Gobs or torque compared to the GS500. Much more aggressive position with the clip ons but note quite as agressive as a supersport. So far, I've ordered the Targa fender kit and frame/swingarm sliders. I will eventually get a high mount exhaust.

hey if anyone knows of a lift in the pittsburg area that i could use for a day please let me know...some issues came up and i cant find a way to tow the car up so im bagging on driving it up and installing the parts myself. any help is much appreciated

 

I really don't think we would need a lift. But there is a shop we go to that has a lift, he just may be busy. If you have an exact day when you need it, maybe can work something out. Lemme know when your coming out, wouldn't mind getting off work to help out.

BTW, are we tapping the oil pan that is on the car for the return, or do you have a spare that is ready to go?

 

hehe already drilled/tapped and plugged...trust me i thought of everything. anytime witt is availiable i can come up, i just dont want to interfere with your all's fourth of july. also, i can tear the front end down in about 20 mins, seeing as im getting good at that after doing it for about the 6th-7th time
