Hahaha I don't think I'd recommend anything from INTENSE... I have written quite a few posts about their tunes and most of them started with "WTF"... Although their Pulley System isn't too bad (although you can't easily go smaller than a 2.8")

Check out ZZP or SmoothFlow Pulleys Modular Pulley Systems (MPS) they both look nice and offer lots of options.

I would highly highly recommend going with 60# injectors. Do it right the first time, it will save you lots of hassle. Unless you are content with running a 2.9" or 3.0" pulley at max and a little lower redline.

Here is my recommendation...

60# injectors ~220
2.8 MPS ~100
Stage 2 Belt ~50
Colder Plugs ~15
H/E ~175
Tune ~???

Anyone good to go to for a non-dyno tune on an auto 2.4 in the Pittsburgh area? It wouldn't be until spring anyway..

And how hard is it to install the GMPP Performance exhaust directly in place of the OEM one? I heard you have to cut the OEM one to get it over the axle.. Then is the rest simple bolts and hangers? OEM hanger locations?

ANNNNND stock '06 headlights ($75), silver MP3 radio ($25), and black cloth front and rear seat set ($100) still for sale. A Dell desktop computer too. $150. PM me for info..

most peeps do cut the stock cat-back in half. installing isn't nearly as tough. just have to twist n turn. i, with some help, was able to remove the oem cat-back without cutting by simply dropping the rear axle. reason was i was selling the cat back and didn't want to cut it. and yes, you will use the stock hangers. you can use stock bolts and steel gasket or buy new if you want.

I think he said it has new gaskets.. Do you mean just raising the car all the way or actually fully removing the rear axle? lol. Because if I don't HAVE to cut the stocker I'd rather not.. Just incase.. lol.

No offense, but you're in here every other week with an idea asking if people will help you at a time yet to be determined. One week it's a tune, the next it's a supercharger kit. This is amongst all of your other posts trying to buy/sell crap. Get your stuff together, then when you have a definite time, ask about tuning. Otherwise, the best answer you'll get is a "maybe".

As for the exhaust, if you drop the suspension in the rear you should have no problem taking the stock exhaust off without cutting it. You need to jack the car up and put it on stands and unbolt the shocks.

I didn't say I had to line something up. I just wanted to know if there were a few people in the area who had the knowledge and equipment to properly do it. There's nothing wrong with asking questions. If I had the money to do the s/c and the full suspension and the brakes all right now I wouldn't be driving a Cobalt. So obviously things take time when you're working and going to school full time and you've got a minimum wage job. All I'm doing is asking questions. Don't make it sound like such a burden to post and help out. Ignore it and move on if it's that big of a deal.

And I'm obviously trying to sell this stuff to pay for more modifications.

I can help you install it IF you are willing to bring out to my place where all my tools are and IF you are willing to cut the stock exhaust. I'm not really interested in dropping the rear axel...

No Problem. It's pretty simple as long as you have air tools.

I'm just saying there are people here that have the ability, but your plans change every other week. Plus, you've asked about tuning before. Is it really necessary to ask now if you don't even plan on doing anything until spring? What kind of answer do you want? A lot can change between now and then. Who knows what kind of tuning options and tuners will be around then.

And the sales stuff gets old fast. Once is enough. Multiple posts in the same thread about buying/selling the same stuff is clutter and annoying.

People don't usually say "Hmm.. I wonder if there's anything for sale 4 pages back.."

Dude. It's not that big of a deal, is it? Just calm down.

Yea I'd be glad to help. But like I said we gotta cut the stock exhaust cause I really don't feel like goin through the hastle of droppin the axle. If you ever wanna go back to stock all you gotta do is ge a sleve and a few muffler clamps or take it to a muffler shop and get it rewelded and you're good to go.

Dan, let me know if you need some assistance, help, moral support, spectatorship, bullshitting, beer drinking help, etc while in process of playing with your new toy(s). I would want to see what that is all about...

Calm down? All I did was respond to your posts. If that's considered making a big deal out of it, then consider it my bad.

All I'm saying is: one post about something for sale is enough. If no one responded the first time you posted it in this thread, then I'd guess no one is going to be interested one page later.

Haha thanks. Most of the parts should be here by the weekend. I doubt everything will make it here on time, so it probably won't get installed until the weekend of the 16th.

that's pretty much it in a nutshell. quicker to cut it off but better if you want to sell it. peeps would be more willing to spend a few extra bux on something they won't have to dick around with.

my b-day is the 16th. it'll be a good day for all of us! i'll be drinkin my face off i'm sure...

Ah, Dan's is on the 11th, and mine is on the 13th. Quite a Birthday-filled month for Pittsburgh.

That was a quick turn around on the R6. So what is taking (or took it sounds like) its place as the new toy?

Most locals are LSJs, I'd post up in classifieds and specify you'd prefer local pickup, otherwise buyer pays actual shipping costs.
