My 2 racing buddys are going up with their 9 second cars. 68 Nova and 68 Chevelle Both are black and pull the wheels like MFers. Fun to watch. The Nova runs 9.2s and the chevelle 9.5s

 

Def. don't want to be racing someone running those times...that would make my car look like it's standing still!

Talked to dealer today. Their waiting on a couple of small parts for the trans. The rest of the stuff is done ,oil change ,steering warranty ,program 3 remotes plus extra keys. I think we might head up to the track tomorrow but not sure.

 

Just out of curiosity how much does it run to have remotes programmed these days? I lost my main set and my backup doesn't sync with the car anymore since the BCM's been replaced. I've been putting off doing it because I can't decide whether to stick with the stock crap or go with an aftermarket security system.

 

Ill find out when I pick up the car.

Trans update. I bought all the parts for 5th gear including the cover off of a company in Cleveland called Morad who had a differential for sale out of a wrecked 09SS with a cracked case on Ebay. He sold me all the 5th gear **** for $75 since I bought from him before. Ill keep those parts for spares.

He also has a Rally Yellow low rise deck lid he said I could have for $150 from the same car

 

If it is raining I'm not going to Sonic...I have a wedding to go to in the afternoon, and I have to help a friend move into his apartment. We'll see...

I'm really getting sick and tired of all these Pittsburgh guys not coming to the meets. I understand if you are working and can not get off for the meet. But I have always provided the dates for the next months meets at least 4 weeks in advance. If you have a better idea or time/dates...please...let me know.

Is anyone from the Burgh planning on going to the GM Tuner Bash in August ? I think I will head up for Friday thru Sunday Morning. Its up around Painsville Ohio East of Cleveland. Im going to get a room for 2 nights and will have room for one or 2 extra people if someone wants to split a room .

WOW !!! I found the deal of the century on the net. Bought a new 2009 MU3 trans for $900 shipped. Im getting ready to jack off right now. Paid thru Paypal and the guy is originally from Turtle Creek area who has a parts business in Florida. Ill post his info later.
