Pocono Car Meet @ Lowe's off 611
Hi All,
Last year's weekly car meets from NEPA area has changed to Stroudsburg (Lowe's parking lot).
There will be a car meet at the LOWE's parking lot off 611 and 33 in Stroudsburg PA every monday nite starting 7pm until?? .
Please park in the very front of the lot as close as possible near Long Horn. Last year, we had steady stream of locals & out of state (NJ/Upstate NY/ NYC/LI and even Ohio) drivers and coming The local PD have been informed and they are cool about us having the meet, they may cruise by quickly just to make sure everybody is cool and nobody is doing anything funny.
So please pickup your trash, NO RACING or SHOWING OFF, NO DRINKING - Drive responsibly...
PLEASE: NO PINK SLIP RACING!! Only on the race track!!!!

You do know that there has been a VW meet here on thursdays for years ? Even in the cold they are there. I suggest a different day or try to get along. I met them before and never cause any trouble to have local PD called on them.

Yeah, the guys were actually talking about that the other night. They just hang out and talk, but then other people started showing up the other night with their ricers and acting stupid...they were all like wtf

I go there sometimes and it's just a few close friends that talk. Like 10 cars tops. One night some random DSM's and Honda's pulled up and did laps in the parking lot. It makes the normal quiet bunch of guys look bad. Every bunch of groups have a few jerks who cause problems and it's a annoying fact of life.

I'm announcing a demolition derby in Gilbert PA on July 18th, and the promoter is also looking to have a car show/cruise that day as well. I've posted in a couple of threads just trying to spread the word.
Anybody interested let me know and I'll get the info posted up.

That wouldn't happen to be the XDDL event there would it? The fairgrounds is usually where I run, and they have a car show or two there a year. Nice big area for a good turnout

Ah, I did not know there was no more XDDL. As for competing, I run the small events in my area down here...hit me up while you're in town, as I only live 5 miles from the fairgrounds in Gilbert
