Hey bud,

I might be heading up. Depends on the weather as far as heat goes. I'll let you know that morning at the latest.

Luigi,

Where did you see that weather forecast??? I just checked and they're calling for mid-80s as a high and a slight chance of rain.

My buddy in the SRT and I will be there. I've not decided if I'm going to run yet, but I'm 50/50 right now.

Need to rotate the tires tonight.

OK....well I don't trust those sadistic bastards.... I use weather.com

high of 85, and 30% chance of an isolated storm.

Going regardless, same with my SRT bud ( Ed ).

We'll both be there, and I am 80% sure I'm running as well.

Is anyone else spectating? I'd go but I don't want to be the only one sitting around.

Might think about it just as something to do. I need to be in MAJOR cash saving mode. I'm essentially laid off for 3 weeks

sorry to hear that....

I am 90% sure I'm running. My brakes LOOK good judging by the looks when I rotated the tires, but they feel crappy. I am getting brakes this week for it and will have them on before the next Auto-x.

I'll be there for 6-ish.

Later

I'll be missing this one. I need to go into the dealer sometime soon and have them look at my rotors. They are getting worse.

Have fun!

That is such a joy to have to do that.... I like it so much, I've done it 4 time this past year.

Ordering my Brake pads today hopefully, and the rotors as well. Not many places carry those rorots

Ok... fine ... be that way.... Now I won't have a camera person...

J/K

Well, if you change your mind, you know where we'll be.

I'm hoping it will be nice and cool by 8 there so I can have a few decent runs. The air was nice and cool and dense this morning, and my car pulled strong on the pike....

Who knows. I doubt it though. I'm having a really shitty day.

Long story short I'm headed out to the dealer later to see how much I can get trade-in on my car. If something doesn't change drastically in the next two weeks, I'm either going to have to trade it in on something cheap or, more likely, sell it privately and go carless for a while. This ******* sucks

Thanks Brian. At this point it looks like I'm going to be dropping out of school too, not definite on that, but here again, most of these decisions will be made w/in the next 2 weeks. I basically got a call from my school saying that my student loans weren't valid for this year and that I owe $6000 due IMMEDIATELY. So, I am going to see if I can go the private lender route and get a loan, but I need a co-signer and my grandparents don't want to, my mom refuses to, my dad can't because he's got financial troubles of his own. So I'm basically screwed.

Yeah, add to that the whole 3 week layoff from my job. I'm already 2 months behind on bills, PLUS I got another call this afternoon from my landlord who found out I let my renter's insurance lapse (lease requires I have it), so I have 30 days to get a new policy or I'm evicted. So...yeah.

Oh yeah, and OnStar hit up my credit card, which I didn't authorize them to do, for the yearly renewal...so there goes another $200.

The only good thing is I've been so depressed the last month I've pretty much quit eating, so that's saved SOME money...just not enough.

Hey guys,

Well, Luigi and I were the lone reps for the Cobalts, and while he had a decent night.... mine was blah....

I improved the whole time, but never got out of the 15's. I know the car has more in it, I think it's the driver. While my 60' times were not stellar, I was down aroun 2.3 in the end and had a reaction time of .240 ( compared to a 1.098 the 1st run. )

Best time was a 15.30 @ 94-ish
