PRP rained out today 9/13

It's on the site already, and I'm sure people already planned on it being rained out. It says they're going to try tomorrow and to look at the site tomorrow for updates.

Anyone planning on going if it's still on for tomorrow 9/14? I have a 1/2 day of sick time to blow (have having half days just floating around to take off).

What's going on today... everyone is so quiet...

Well, I took a half day tomorrow, so I'll be there as long as it's not rained out also.

There's gotta be some more people out there going...

I've been very busy at work lately. I was barely on the site at all yesterday...

At any rate, I'm probably not going tomorrow.

www.pittsburghracewaypark.com

Look in the upper left hand side of the screen. it will say "Track is open" with a little green light, or it will say "Rained Out" with a cloud/lightning bolt.

I really doubt it will be going on tomorrow judging by the amount of rain we've gotten / are going to get. It's supposed to be drizzly tomorrow afternoon as well.

Has anyone thought about going there on a Saturday???

They open @ 11:30AM and run all afternoon, and then you do the dial in and bracket race later in the day. it's the same price I think as running a TNT and at the end of the day, there's still time to do other things.

Just a thought.

Well, get your butt back up there then... call George Nagy and bitch.

If your work order states the ECU reflash, then you paid for it and better get it before too much time goes by.

Went back to the dealer. They hooked it up and it started to communicate and then cuts out. So I didn't get the flash. Now I have to wait until the fix the problem. How safe is it for me to drive my car. Should I keep it under 3k rpms.
On a side note they had a Equinox there that they flashed today only to find it wouldn't even crank. Maybe its good that the flash didn't work.

i've heard that the pcm is sometimes hard to flash at the dealers (imagine that)... i'd have them try again. I don't think you'll have many problems though til they do, but i'd let the tuners chime in and say for sure. if the dealer let you leave without, it can't be that bad...or its their ass thatwill be paying for your new car

Yeah, I agree with that....

I wouldn't hammer on the car too much, but as long as they are aware of the issue, it's on them if something goes awry.

When I worked at a GM dealership back in the OBD1 days... we had Grand Ams that came off the truck and wouldn't pass emissions inspections..... got to love GM sometimes...

Smarty... how'd everything turnout otherwise? How long did they actually work on the car??

I'm thinking about doing this upgrade in the srping, but not sure yet.

Everything turned out good. Good service. Car was free from dirt, scratches, etc. as far as I can see. They didn't have any problems besides the flash. Gave all my stock parts back. I really haven't gotten on it besides when I noticed it wasen't hitting 7K, but the one time I did you feel extra power, especially in 2nd. I noticed that shifting between 1st and 2nd now is smoother too. The kit should have came with the car stock. I'm glad I went to Kenny Ross.

THey treat me pretty well there as well... NOW... I've had problems in the past there. THat's why I caution people... it's hit or miss there.

THey see me so often there between OFL, and recall/warranty stuff... that I know just about everyone there, so I get along with them better now.

LOL, well then I'll hope for your sake that they didn't get as bad of weather as we got here in Forest Hills. I had no power for about 9.5 hours. Went out at 11, didn't come back on until right after my alarm went off at 8:20. Lots of rain, wind, and lightning.

Wow.... Alicia...

It rained heavy in Irwin, and we had the thunder adn lightning, but no power outages.. not even a flicker... maybe someone hit a pole or something...

It JUST got done pouring here in Ambridge, and I'm seeing some BLUE SKY... WTF is that??

SO, I wouldn't put $ on it, but you MIGHT get to run tonight guys. MAYBE... look how long it takes them to clean up a little oil on the track....lol

If the track gets rained out tonight, I think I'm gonna give up on it for the year... Left work early 2 times (tonight will be my 3rd) just to get to the track. No luck so far. Hopefully tonight will be the night, but I'm not looking forward to it.....

Well, so far the track is listed is OPEN... so if there's no more rain today... who knows.

Good luck. Looks like I'm back on OT for a while, so I won't be there tonight even as a spectator.

Maybe next week.

Yeah, there's this little .4mi wide dot on the radar up around erie heading east, but may make a sudden turn south right over new alexandria and stop there for 14 hours... OK, I'm exagerating, but still. Must be nice that PRP can forcast the weather but the damn weather people can't.

Yeah, can you tell I'm pissed... Now what are we going to do?

Looks like the storm that PRP saw is breaking up and is turning into scattered rain. Anyone up for hanging out at Pep Boys tonight? With the rain ending soon and the traffic on Rt30 this afternoon, everything should be dried up by this evening.
