this is how ive justified the loss. even if they took the habs in the next round, do you really think the bruins could of knocked off the san jose or chicago?

losing david krejci did the bruins in. even though they played most of game 3 without him, they had a two goal lead by the time we knew he wasn't coming back on the ice. for a team that was so fragile offensively, even with savard back, losing krejci was devastating.

after the bruins third goal, leighton seemed to have finally be getting comfortable in net, and without krejci, the bruins offense was completely stale.

btw, did anyone notice that two of phillys goals only went in because they bounced off mark stuart? the first philly goal stuart blocked a piece of it but not enough to keep it from rolling in the net. and i think it was phillys third goal, the wrap around goal. when the guy from philly (forget who) shot the puck it was initially going to just float through the crease, but stuart came down and curled to the left of the post causing the puck to bounce off his lower back and into the net.

****, wish stuart could have stayed injured...

why would you get rid of wideman? have you seen his numbers for the post season 1-11-12. he led the team in points and assists. he came up big when he needed to.

stuart on the other hand had two very important goals bounce off of him and into the net.

You will have to forgive Mike, he isn't a huge sports guy I also loved how there was always 2 or 3 Phillys players in the crease when the puck was within spitting distance of Rask.
Get in there and push those guys outta there!

thats where the defense failed in the last 4 games. they allowed philly players to just completely crowd the front of the net. there was absolutely no ugrency from anyone to clear them out.

philly basically won because of this in game 4. gagne should have never been sitting on the side of the net with no one within reach of him. all it took was a couple whacks to push the puck under rasks arm to win game 4 in OT.
