If anyone is interested in running your car. We have 1/2 mile of air strip to do with as we please.
We need 12 more cars to make this happen.
It is being coordinated on a Corvette Forum, but it is not limited to any kind of car/bike.
Run what you brung and have fun.

Airstrip is in Pittstown NJ just off 78 and near PA border.
$100 to get in
10am to 3pm
Roll bars/cages not an issue
Bring a helmet would be playing smart

You gotta be kidding me... I live like 15 minutes from there and work 5 minutes from there. I wish I would've seen this post earlier. I would've attended.

The closest strip around is an hour away and the place is a dump. It's always packed as **** and you rarely ever get more than 3 runs in. $100 is well worth it in my opinion. Plus, the drive would be 15 minutes and I can invite friends from close by.

 

I'm assuming you're talking about Island? It does suck if you go on the wrong day...don't bother with Sundays. If you don't have slicks you get one run if you're lucky. Friday night street legal isn't too bad. I got 4 one night and could've run more but figured I had beat my car enough. Maybe one time over the summer we can get enough locals together and rent the place for a day. All the running you want
