paul wuts goin on there...yo mike and i are doing some serious intake action to my car 2morrow. we are doing a custom cold air intake and maybe some ram air action...

ah we got lazy..maybe well do it durin the week. yeah we went go kartin instead out by his new place. umm yeah we are gonna do some custom cold air intake using the stock airbox(look)..should be sick. wuts the deal w/ thisrev it up stuff

 

looks like some fun... get to beat the **** outta a cobalt that isn;t mine... and I think they got some vettes and **** there.... its right by my house and cheap so I"m gonna try it.

nothing yet, I was in Baltimore til friday night just got the front mount h/e in.... doin the rear tranny mount this week, 2.5 pulley and an aeroforce.

 

ur insane...the work done to your car will never stop...lol. if i can do this cai with ram air this week ill race u on friday...hahahahahahaha. we have to get more cobalts out..im tryin to find people.

 

I got 2 more guys up saturday, mezzano w/ blue ss/sc and a black ss/sc we actually out numbered the neons saturday night... that was a first hopefully have at least 8-10 guys out this friday if everyone shows..
and you know me.. the work is never done.

 

haha. ill get mike down too. he is still doing some work to his place. yo we went go kartin yesterday..of course he killed me. some lil kid spun out he passed him and of couse the the kid block the whole track and i went rite into the kid..so funny. we shud get some of us out to go do that..it would b soo funnny. i wanna get my intake done before friday. most likely it will be done on thurs. cuz thats when im acutally off from work.

wut im doing with mike is. we are usin the stock air box and turining it into a Cai. we looked at it and there is pipin like your car stock goin down to the bottom of the car but gets smaller(so its restrictive with air). we are gonna cut it mount a filter on there, do some ram air probably. then have the piping go into the air box and make a turn into the throttle body. it mite just work...ne thoughts paul

 

sounds like a good idea, should see some gains.... I've never seen the box myself so I have no imput at the time... by the way next time you guys go kartin hit me up I'm always down for anything that involves driving.

 

it should work..reason why im keepin the air box still there cuz im on a lease instead of cutting it or instead of spending 200-300 on a cai intake that i can make. yeah man def will..maybe we can do it fri or sat nite. they are open till 11. its alil far of a drive past DPA. Exit 63 on LIE. but it def would b fun.im finally workin on another cobalt at work. im doing a system in it. its my car..im gonna see if he will go out to DPA. im doing radio, all new speakers and subs. shuld be a easy job. aigh man ill get at u later

this is the same thing as the Mazda rev it up they used to hold. old club i was in went about 3 yrs ago.
but u have to have ur own vehicle correct?

I don't think so I think They provide a vehicle... if not I'll run my car and kill the competition... also signed up for the cart race... I think winner of the autocross rec a new cobalt ss... I hope I win could use another as a stocker... but if you check the site I think they provide the cars.
