I spoke with Matt today, seems like a straight up nice guy... I have an appointment to get my Stage II installed Friday afternoon at a dealer close by and am trying to squeak out the funds for an exhaust before the 11th... I just hate to charge **** after all the grief I give my wife when she does it... I might do a wait-n-see with SLP's exhaust coming out. I am really pissed that Flowmaster has just completely blown off the Cobalt, this will be the first vehicle I have owned since '89 without a 40 series hanging under it... I'm definitely going back to Matt some time after the 11th to have a custom tune, from what I have read here it will be worth it...
Sounds like your a real "do it yourselfer" haha.

I'll give Matt a call tomorrow and find out the price on it first. Then I'll let you guys know and if you want it, you can pay TTP, and he'll have it at his shop for you that day. He can definatly get it for you, thats not a problem, I'll just have to get the price off of him.
blazinb, your planning on doing a boat load of work that day aren't you hahahaha. What header/dp did you go with? The install on that shouldn't be too bad at all.

I talked to Matt today and he will match the price of $424 on the exhaust (that didn't include the tip on CED did it?). If you guys want it, he'll order it and have it shipped to his shop for you to pick up at any time or on the Dyno Day if thats what your planning. Let me know asap.

Actually that price of 424 did include the tip! tell him he can check crate engines pricing on the exhaust himself, the GMPP Performance exhaust is listed at 365 and tips are 60 or so. If he cant match that 424 with tip, I will just buy from CE.

haha, i try. my car has never seen the inside of the dealer. and it will stay that way. i voided my warranty pretty much as soon as i got it.. so if something serious happens i'm on my own. <-- but, thats not a problem 
alot of people dont realise that i went to pennco tech. i dont use it for a career.. but, it was never my intention to. i just like to know how to fix my toys.

Dealers and mechanics hose you on so many things and labor its ridiculous anymore.

yeah. if i had to pay for labor, theres no way i would have as many mods as i do. i just gotta start on the traction mods in preparation for my power adder swap. (just ordered slicks and axles. clutch is next )
the wife wont let me be the first to get the twinscrew its not the kit itself.. she thinks the vendor is shady cause he wants certified checks. so i guess i'll be waiting for the hahn turbo kit.

I was thinking of heading out by no later than 6:45. Last time we left at 7:10 and there were 10 cars ahead of us already hahaha. Do you know where Olga's diner is at the Rt. 70 and Rt. 73 circle? That would be the best place to meet.
