Well if things work out right, then possibly. But if problems persist I think its time to say good-bye. I also would have to see how much of a loss I'd be taking on my Cobalt.

I think my secret weapon will be... simple bolt-ons, nothing crazy at all this time. I'm looking to keep my car reliable this time haha. Nothing but intake, exhaust, and tint this time around I think.

On the reliable part, makes more sense. I went ***** deep in my cobalt after 3 months of ownership, and 70% of the cars my way wont stand a chance in a race. I lost pretty badly to an Evo with ONLY bolt ons. From a roll as well.

And yes Andy, if it is total loss, everything i've done IS coming off, and you have first dibs on the exhaust.

Sooooo...I went to the dealer today to see what it looks like..And I almost cried. The insurance adjuster also never got there so I'm unsure of how its going to work out still.

 

That sucks man..I'm sure i woulda cried too. lol

 

It's coming back!! Turn around time, 1-2 weeks hopefully if the parts come in.

I gotta stop in the dealer tomorrow to tell them to save my rim, and not drill holes in the front bumper for the plate. Hopefully i can convice them i rigged something up to stick it in the lower grill opening.

Good luck wit that. I painted my lower rear grills, the JBP heat shield, and fuse box cover. Was gonna paint the spark plug cover, but the freakin screws are stripped. Matt gonna have fun wit that if he ever gets the chance to put my cams in..lol

 

How are your screws stripped out...........?

I need to get around to painting the front grill/bowtie, the rear grills, cutting my B&M in half and using a different knob without reverse lock out.

 

Not sure how they got stripped. Sucks though...Good luck to whom ever does work to my car next. lol...Hopefully they will be able to replace the screws too. DAMN MY SHIFTER NOT HERE YET!! Should be here tom.
