Really? I'm not diggin "Delta", it just sounds like a sorority. We should come up with more names for it and have a vote. Even something as general as Tri-State Tuners would be good IMO

 

Delta is also used for Frats

i kinda like that. Tri-state tuners would cover it nicely. I'm not a big fan of delta's either. it just doesnt really sound that great.

tri state racing sounds good (TSR), i do like tri state deltas.. but tri state ecotech i hate.also are we limiting this?? like i told my cousin abt it and he said see if i can get in on it, but he drives a 00 camaro ss.

 

camaro is not a delta platform car......which is why when this was all orginlly discussed we were gooing to use tri-state deltas, which would make the most sense

 

as long as we don't use tri-state delta's I'm down. But as I stated way way back in the thread, I'm not liking the sorority sounding name..

 

yea i hate to be a pooper too but i can't stand the Deltas thing either...i'd be out if we used that..<thats how much i hate it...TSR~Tri State Racing sounds good...and i think we should be a All GM Club....i mean who knows how long they are going to be makin the ecotecs for with the new mpg an emissions laws an everything coming out...hell if you really wanted to you could set a min h.p. rating

 

Well, The ECOtec name will be around a while... even if they do veer off to Electric cars.. i belive even the Volt will have an Ecotec in it... E-tecII or sumin... That you use when the batt needs a charge.


And I think now I'm done with Delta, cuz I think the Volt (When it comes out) Should be welcome.

well also remember the main problem is not finding enough ppl for this club..opening it up to all GM vehicle with a minimum of say 200hp or an Ecotec engine will help us grow more

 

lol, well, a min of 200hp take out alot of ppl... Most ppl have 2.2L... which 98% aren't above 200hp.

THe 2.4's they'd be lucky to have 200hp also. I don't think a HP restriction is a good idea. Granted, it weeds out the mundane from the serious... but There are some ppl with really nice Cobalt's with a ton of $$$ put into them w/o 200....

The Delta Platform is pretty much the cars I think this was all intended for....

yea you didnt finish reading wat i said... i said "ALL GM vehicles with a minimum of 200hp or an Ecotec engine" however it could be "All GM Vehicles with a minimum of 200hp or any Delta platform/ecotec"..that way we can allow other heavily modified GM vehicles into the club and still have all the deltas and ecotecs w/o having other poor models in our club

btw...the "or" in my lines means you have to have one or the other to gain admittance into the club so you need either a GM 200hp car or any Delta/ecotec car to get in...all others will NOT be admited

 

Just a heads up... the name that you guys like the most has to go an get copywrited since your going to be making a website an all....

how do you go an get it reg to ask? goto the main dmv an say you will like to copywrite a company name since your going to be posting online with a website they will consider it a company
