I will be selling my 05 cobalt ss/sc for the simple reason that I want a srt4. I know I know shutup. By the time I put it up for sale, all it will have is a magnaflow catback exhaust. It has 19,5xx miles on it as of now. I would be asking $15,000 obo for it.

 

If my current buying project doesn't work out for a red 05 SS/SC, I'll look you up. Maybe we could meet somewhere?

Insurance = ftl it would kill me on a gto, even with hook ups lol. And plus, $15k is what im going to be buying an srt4 with lol. I haven't seen any 04 gtos near 15 yet. Lowest one was like 17,800 for an 04.

Hopefully I can get my car up for sale in a week or two.

 

An extra $2800 would be roughly and extra $50 a month.

Anyway, don't always knock the insurance, the insurance on the cobalt costs ALOT more than the insurance on our goat...and mine isn't even the S/C (you know that....lol)

All I'm saying is LOOK around, don't be so quick to jump on things and good luck with whatever you do

 

lol I make $7 an hour. And plus the insurance for my slowbalt is VERY cheap. $2,500. I don't know how I pulled that one off....well its actually $3,000 now because of my ticket but when I first got it, $2,500. I think that's cheap. No way is a GTO going to be near $3000 for me. I was quoted at 5500 last year for an 04.

 

What options are on the car?? Any accidents??

 

Yes an accident. Has everything except lsd and the recaros. I hit a curb and messed up a rim and suspension components. I also needed a new front bumper (which was hardly messed up...the only thing was the bottom lip was fuked up. but the insurance company decided to order a new bumper)

Yes, the only aftermarket item would be the catback exhaust. I would be willing to add the hood in for an additional $450. I'm not selling this car right now, but probably in a couple of weeks just so you know.

I might be joining you guys for the meet... but should be no more cobalt after monday got a good deal on a low mileage 05 srt-4 ... so hopefully I"ll have most of the work done on it by then (50 trim rippmods turbo kit, fuel system, and some other goodies..)

Depends on when I sell the car. If I don't sell my car by then, i'll show up and hang out. If I do sell my car by then, i'll only show up if I aqcuire the srt4 because I still have to hunt for a good used srt4.

 

Sorry guys...I think i'm gonna keep her. I heard that supercharger whine today and omg, I thought about losing that sound and I actually had a tear....I can't sell my car. If my car wasn't in an accident, It would've been sold in no time. But due to that, I wouldn't get much, therefore I couldn't buy much either....So yeah i'm keepin the balt.
