I'm from Morris County too. I rarely see any cobalts around. Well, at least not the fun ones.

 

Have you ever been to Island Dragway? I just hear about it and was thinking of going on one of the street legal events they have on Fridays, so I'm curious what its like.

yea ive been there a few times im prolly gunna head there in about 2 weeks if i get my **** done by then, the track is pretty decent, i prefer to go on test and tune days because you get more runs in but you're surrounded by muscle cars lol. if you ever take a trip there later on just lemme know and i might meet you there

 

Whats it like on the Fridays? How crowded is it, and what type of cars there usually?

I'd love to take my car to the track, I've never done it before. With my luck though, I'd probably stall at launch. lol

on fridays theres a decent amount of people/cars. theres usually some decent cars and its no biggie ive seen a few people stall at the line lol im down to go sometime towards the end of the month or in june im just waiting for a few more parts to come in and ill ready.

Cool. I have seen a few Cobalt SS around. I know one day last week a blue supercharged ss followed me home and kept going toward Green Pond/Rt 23. Dont know if they are on the forum though. I have also seen a red turbocharged ss around.

I have been wanting to go back to the Island. Was never there actually to run, but me and a friend are thinking of going sometime.(He owns a modified Mazda Speed 6)

Like you said, you get more runs in on a test and tune day.

I work in Morris County right across from CCM. I see a Yellow SS all the time going across Dover Chester Rd. I have the White Coupe w/CF wrapped Hood, Rood and Trunk. Black wheels.
