Hahah .... my old man is still a kid at heart . Him and my mom are gunna be up in buffalo for dinner tonight and i told him a bunch of us were going to be at AJ's .......... Now he's gunna stop in to check out your guys cars lol.

Hope you guys don't mind but he's no different than anyone of us ....... He bought an intake ..... exhaust and had a tune done by new era as soon as he got his C6 lol.

He won't ruin anyone's fun is what im getting at.

Hell ....I'm not sure ... he might . He lives for cars and has been drag racing since the 60's lol .

He's been a truck driver his whole life .... owner operator ..over the road . He raced his new peterbilt at Pocono Raceway in 1980 and almost hit the wall when the truck wouldn't turn..... at around 100 mph lol . He's got some storys thats for sure .

 

Oh dear lord! I work a Kenworth dealer. Hope he won't hate me because I don't like Peterbilt's, even though they're made by the same damn company!

 

He told me..... to tell you..... he wanted to roll race you lol ..... jk . I'll let him know hehe

LOL thats awesome .... Back in 1980 the had a KTA 600 cummins in his pete ..... It made 600hp .....back then .....it was alot and cost him an extra 15,000 dollars to have it lol . He's been a gear head forever.

He stopped going over the road in the late 80's and works for Russo's construction as a lowboy driver ...but now mostly runs heavy equipment. Do you know Rod Ranke? We've know him forever and he works at kenworth of buffalo.

 

Yeah!!!!! He's a great guy. He's been doing alright since his surgery but I don't think he'll fully recover.

 

Rodney is an awesome guy. I have to give him some serious credit because even with his current condition he still comes in and has a better attitude than most of the other people working there.

 

I've known Rod since i was a little kid , we used to go down to his farm and hang out with his two son's .... Chris and Jeff . Chris was my older brothers best friend and we were devastated by his passing . Rod has been threw more pain and loss than i can ever imagine.

On the other hand ... his quick jokes and smile can brighten anyones day .
