I would not go to any "known" racing hangouts anymore!

They are cracking down big time!

 

Maple Valley highway seems loose agian.

 

anyone know a good spot anymore? i have a group of about 10-15 cars every friday night and we need places to go and let loose.

 

You just kinda gotta search lol.

 

I suggest you make you own ground and find your own place!

Stay away from the crowds in known areas!

 

you can come to the tacoma krispy kream that a good hang out on fridays and saturdays... but theres NO racing unless its on I5 then your on your own! lol.... smoked a Mach 1 this past saturday.

 

Well... here goes day 4 of court...... wish me luck everyone.... and a big **** YOU to the city of Renton for making me drive 640 KMs round trip every time I go there!

3 more court days to go next week then everything should be wrapped up.

Don't people die all the time on Maple Valley highway? Doesn't seem like the safest place to race.

 

and you pay 40 bucks to race your car AT BEST 4 or 5 times....maybe if i was made of money.

Not that i support street racing but Pacific isn't really an alternative for most people.

 

There is Mission Raceway in Mission, BC. on Friday nights is street legals...... lol. $30 CAD for as many runs as you can squeeze between 4:00 PM to 11:00 PM...

SIR, is the best track in the northwest, for 40 bucks I would ba happy to get 1 run.

HAHAHA! I remember S.I.R. too, but yeah, I'm like 300 years old.

 

I like bremerton better. it might not look as high speed as Pacific but it is hard to argure 18 runs on a friday. I could of done more if I didn't keep stopping to take pics.

 

Pacific kinda sucks cause you have to race into the sun. A year or 2 ago they announced a multi-million $ upgrade of the facility including a 1/4 mile strip running North from South (parallel to hwy 18). I'll try to dig up the article.

EDIT: Here's the link to the thread about it but the link is no good! But from the thread date, this was all suppose to happen over 2 years ago.

 

sorry to revive an old post....but i gotta agree...bremerton is a little better for the buck...

side note: bremerton....September 19....test & tune.....anyone interested in coming?

 

I am going on this Friday the 12th (pay day!), it is kinda my "going away" event so a lot of my military guys are sappose to show.

 

it in thw works right now...

dont show people how fast your car goes after tune...outside of the dragstrip there...the peeps working there dont like (dragging) in the parking lot...:P
