Sorry about today Tom... but I didn't want you to have to drive me all the way back to UP as much as I know you love to drive, gas is expensive and I am broke from going SOOOPA! Thanks again for the header and DP got them installed a few mins ago... I forgot how much more space is back there when you have a stock header on the car...

Richard, did you know....the new 2.2's with secondary air injection be disabled so you can still use an lsj header. Anyone that has a tech 2 scanner at a gm dealership can basically reflash your ecu to make it run with no check engine light and without any runability issues...

RICHARD, the header flows ten times better....where the o2 sensor goes into your header its not a complete round exit to the downpipe. The SS collector to the downpipe is completely round. If I had it off the car still I would show you the difference. The downpipe is also a greater diameter. Probably pick up 5-10 with a good catback.

Also TOMMY BOY his car does, it's because it's an XFE he got the slow EXTRA FUEL ECONOMY! The XFE cars have so much more electronic BS going on it makes tuning a little more time consuming therefor more $$

I figure you guys would appreciate a good tease!
MAP sensor and belt tomorrow!! I will do a video of first start up and all that shiz. Tune this week maybe if I can get $$ if not then I might just wait till Tom and Mel get back from the great northern!

too bad GM is discontinuing the cobalts cause a convertable might have been on their list of things to do along with all wheel drive, or rear wheel drive. Ever looked at the exhaust tunnel under the car and wondered how hard a v-8 swap would be?? has anyone done it yet?? I want to see that shiz.

also for your viewing pleasure I found this goofy looking twincharged convertable cobalt?!?

http://videos.streetfire.net/video/T...-SS_156593.htm

it's peanut butter jelly time...

lawl, victory red ss is doing a v8 rear wheel swap...he is about to scrap it after a few years and tens of thousands of dollars on it...

and ya, i wasnt sure, but it shouldnt be much for vince to tune out....
also, we will need to check your header as i know that when the 07's came out they had the lsj header already installed....

random that would be slick if it was and then they just added the port for the sai cause then you might as well leave it hooked up better fuel economy...

how much including shipping

and make sure that you dont have the lsj header already, im not sure if you do or dont...and rem that header wont be any good without tuning...which is another 300$ AND youll want to do tuning after you have done most everything else perf wise so you wont have to again....

also, they are good for our cars...but if you are looking to do alot to your car then wait and buy aftermarket cause there are alot better products....also....know that the lsj exhaust wont give you much in the way of a cool sound...a lil bit...but not alot lol

well hes from orting so ill just pick it up. he wants 40 for it. and i dont think ill even use the header i just want the cat back. plus the muffler is cut off but i would get it with it so all i would need to do is by a more high flow muffler and it would sound good.
