there have been tests against the veyron this year as far as who is fastest to 200 mph. The Hennessey Viper 1000 TT has already proven to be faster to 200 this year and last year, the Saleen S7 TT was posted with numbers that were faster as well.

 

wow, that is sick, but actually i like the look of the bugati Veyron better.

 

So, I've written to SSC to see when and where this is going to take place and if spectators will be allowed. If I get a positive answer back, would anyone else want to go witness this?

i would be but the last test they held was in arizona...I think? that would be too far of a road trip for me.

 

I didn't know. A lot has changed too, now they will be doing the record breaking here in our home state of Washington.

The last one was in Nevada, but a freak snowstorm hit so they had to move about 30 miles away. In the alternate spot they only had like 2 miles of good enough road to work with, so that wasn't gonna do. Now they plan to do it up here in Washington, and I wanna go watch!
