trust me guys i would have gone just to chill with ya'll. but my coilovers should be fixed and tightened to the top mounts by kw variant this week, so we'll see how that goes.

 

Howdy guys, I didn't say I was going to go, but washed my car Friday night thinking I'd at least show up for a quick meet and greet if nothing else, but ended up coming down with a cold instead and thought I'd spare you guys.

One thing I was thinking though is not just a who's who list on this site but somehow get a list of phone numbers together off the site. so that we can call people who say they will go to find out if they really are or not, it might help in the final week instead of asking who's in, a phone call makes it a little more personal. Just a thought. It would even help for the Friday and Saturday night Cruz's. I went to South Hill Friday night and didn't see one Cobalt, but saw a few GTO's and Subaru's, and since I haven't done the cruz in thing for 20 years or so I didn't feel too comfortable chilling by myself, because I just knew someone would ask "is that your car?....and I would have to respond with "I'm standing by it aren't I?"

i pretty much do that with at least 12 people and its been tried...the problem is not that we cant get ahold of people half the time, its that no one wants to commit to going unless they know others are going...and when almost everyhone does that no one will commit and it ends up folding

but in all seriosness, if you want to give it a try, then im sure people are game!

 

all i gotta say is im down to drive. if you want my number pm me. but here in a week or so im doing the whole stage kit thing so i will be down for a few days
