Not only is it in the NW regional section, the damn title of the thread says NW! Go away NE!
Really though this thread was created to see if anybody has actually attended any events in the Western Washington area. I'd like to get in just don't know where to start up here. Loved when I was running my LT down in TN a few times.
-More fun thru corners.

Yes I have if you mean Solo (precision cone racing). I was with the Oregon SCCA region. More than likely if you have done any performance mods, including rear sway bars you will be in ST,STP, or SMF. Have fun and make sure you look far down the course while driving.

You can always race in the TO (Time only) class. It is open to anyone and does not put you in the point classes. It is a great way to learn solo racing. Hopefully you have a dot approved helmet..if not they may have them to borrow.

Going off this classification sheet (last updated 2007) I think I'd get tossed into CSP since I have a catless pipe, which I may as well get a new hotside pipe and a Term2 tune with that modification level. Oh and still get pwned by everything in my class
If I can find somebody with a catted downpipe that I like for a decent price I could run DSTX. Or if I toss my stock pipe back in I could drop all the way back to DSTS.
Anybody recall hearing a verdict on the boost level debate on the SS/TC at SCCA? They were arguing about the way our ECU doesn't "directly" change boost levels to get more power. I can't recall hearing the final verdict.
Also I'm really glad there's quite a few guys on here interested in mowing down some cones, it's a ton more fun and exciting than driving in a straight line for sure.

I think SCCA does all the solo races out at Bremerton and down south near Morton.

If you want to do that at Pacific Raceways, you have to get in on like the BMW club or Porche guys when they do their club lapping days. It's $160 dollars a full day though (BMW club). Check their schedule.

I have a friend who is in the BMW club. When they have small turnouts, they pretty much let anyone who wants to lap, in. It cuts their cost per person. The last time I went was 2 years ago. It was a good time. Those guys had a new respect for the Cobalt after that day
