PIR 7/4/09 maybe

So...Portland international raceway...
good track? good track prep?

july 4th it shows them as being open for late night drags and i was thinking (cause i actually have that day off!!!!) of coming down and doing some runs then anyone who wants to join can go light off some boom boom :P

what say you southerners

only thing from me is after the racing and what not i would want to see if i could crash at someones place down there...but that leaves me open for a possible cruise afterwords

let me know guys!!!!

Maybe you want to see what you can do

I know it will run a good time with the right launch

once you get it off the line and manage to not spin through the gears its just about going as fast as possible

you have a nice clutch yes???? should be pretty easy to feather it out if its pretty stout

I might be dreaming but I would like mid 12's

I know it doesn't hurt to want. I believe from talking to other similiar cars SRT 4 in particular it should run low 12's or so. Proof will be in the pudding.

with some practice that is what i would expect you may need some drag radials or slicks though lol

tom come on down man!

back like 7-8 years ago, the illegal racing import crowd would start the night off at PIR, then meet more people at the Home Depot lot just down the street from the track, and head out to the industrial area's in vancouver for more illegal drags or elsewhere on crazy fun cruises. lookin back on it we were stupid kids. but i don't regret any of it one bit.

i want my damned 2.4 mani installed and dyno tuned again!!! finals week needs to be over!!!! then i can start saving for the TK. :-P

it's a good track.

the registration is good for a year(so if u got it now, it'd be good till this date next year) for like 30 bucks i think(already have mine). and 20 bucks to race the whole night.

If anybody needs a place to stay.

I have an acre plenty of outdoor space and lots of parking. The house is in the process of remodel so pretty screwed up. If anybody wants to camp etc no problems. 30 min drive from PIR (Portland Int raceway)
