Hey Tom, where are we meeting? It is a huge park. I think the Owens Beach picnic shelter would be good. If not, the Gig Harbor overlook has a covered picnic spot too. Let us know.

We are meeting at Owens Beach, I will have an esy up so that we can just use whatever tables we want!!

Sorry to hear about your freind's G6 - thats shitty that it was stolen - hopefully they find it.

Glad to hear you are coming Brandon! - I will be headed out a little early to make sure and get us a good spot so I wont be cruising, but I know some of you may want to cruise after the food, so we can def do that. I might even take some yellow caution tape to quardon off some parking for us

I updated the first post with all current info!!

My wife and I are going to make it after all! We will be leaving Pullman in the morning at 7 or 8 am. Is there a dyno or anything open on Saturday that is near by? If anyone is up for doing something tomorrow or has any info on stuff to do let me know. One last think is what do I need to bring.

I'm bringing my 8yo daughter. I'm gonna bring a football and frisbee and some other things to keep us busy in the park also. Maybe we could get a game of touch football going, that would be cool!

This park is dog friendly. Just scoop the poop and it's all good. There are stations through out the park with plastic bags and poop disposal cans. There are a few huge fields where people play fetch with thier pooches, it's pretty cool. As far as hotels, I can't help ya there.

Well I guess we will bring him because I just checked the hotel and they are fine with it. Kids love him because he is so big and friendly. He is a 180 lbs great dane. He loves rides in the car. He made the 30 hour trip from Texas to here so I think the 5 hour trip will be a breeze.

That's not a dog, that's a small horse! My daughter loves animals, so she'll be happy. She wants to be a vetrenarian.

Im glad we are going to get this to be a good friends and family event. I am bringing an easy up shelter in case if rains, they had no shelters avail as of a week ago. I have to admit that I dont know if they have small bbq areas or do i need to find some way to get a grill out there...06 - you seem like you know alot about the park, Ive only been there in hs, so im not sure about the grilling.

I know they have grilles at the shelter sites, but I didn't know you had to reserve them. All 5 are taken? That is horrible. Oh well, we'll make due. I don't have a grille anymore, but I'm sure someone will chime in and bring one, hopefully!

heres for hoping, I really dont have a way of getting one there unfortunatly, but ya, all of the shelters are reserved. I will have to do some checking, but if someone has a grill or a few people have those smaller ones we can make do - let me know guys!!!
