06+ L61 Valve Cover, painted

Have one done for a later model 2.2L, painted up like this one. https://www.cobaltss.net/forums/part...-cover-232397/

I'll get pics of it up tomorrow, but it's the same color and finish as that one. Only thing I haven't done is the letters yet, I was thinking instead of black inserts, doing them red or something. Or they can be black, or left raw aluminum. Buyers choice

$60 shipped!!!

The old valve cover, so I can paint it up. You pay me $120, I ship this one. When you install, toss your old one in the box and send it back, I refund you $60 when I get it. Just ensures that I don't run out of covers. I paid $50 a piece for the covers I bought, plus shipping, so I could do this for people, and that was junkyard cores that I had to have cleaned.

Install is easy. Remove the engine cover, coil packs, any clips/lines that hook to the valve cover. Remove the 12-15 bolts that hold the valve cover down, pry it up a little to get it loose, and lift it off. Transfer your gasket over to the new cover, put it on, and tighten everything back down. Should take no more than about 20 min, and all you need is a 10mm socket for the coils and valve cover bolts.

Also, do you want the letters painted black, red, left as they are? I can do almost any color, just tell me.

lol, no problem. Let me know when you're ready, I don't have a VVT core at the moment, so i'd need yours first, but I can do it whenever.

No, totally different shape. Early L61 isn't close to this at all. You can use an LSJ one if you get a rubber piece to fill the cam sensor cutout, but that's about it. I personally like the early cover better, the lines give it much more charecter

Sure, we can work something out. Basically i'll trade you the other cover for my work, you just pay shipping. Send me the first one, i'll do it and send it back, then refund you basically everything but the shipping when I get the spare one back. Sound good?
