Why does it seem everyone always goes back to the stock flywheel?

 

i went back to stock flywheel because i could only get the clutch done on the weekend and no machine shops around here are open during the weekend to resurface it. i got a deal on a stock one and just bit the bullet. driveability is perfectly fine with it.

 

Is the flywheel chromoly or aluminum? And how much does it weigh? I forget... 12lbs?

 

Its chromoly I believe. Definitely not aluminum. Its 15lbs lighter than stock, thats all I know

I was reading somewhere about thin/thick clutches that exedy made. is it a thin or a thick one?

 

Its the street disc, not the track disc. Street disc is the one that is considered thick.

Bump. Looks like the guy who was interested is not responding anymore. All still available

 

I'd go for the clutch but I'm not sure if i like the idea of a used clutch

 

Im not forcing it on anyone. If you want it, awesome, if not, nbd

 

Its just a mental dilemma where I can't decide hahaha
