Arrow 2.2 (L61) Stage II TriFlow Cams

Well I bought a set of cams off a member and they ended up being for a 2.2 (L61). Since I have an LSJ, I have no need for these. I tried to reason with JBP but they want to charge me a core charge of $200 plus i have to give them my stock cams in return!! Doesn't seem fair to me since the member who bought them off JBP ordered LSJ cams and already gave him a set of stock LSJ cams. All I wanted was a 1-for-1 exchange. Oh well....sucks to be me.

Asking $500 Shipped

My Info:

Bill Spinale
Fort Irwin, Ca 92310
william.spinale@us.army.mil
(719) 685-6213 <<------Cell

I will HAPPILY trade for a set of LSJ S2TF cams.
or
Drive Shaft Shop Stage 2 Axles for an 06 SS/SC
or
Nitrous Kit

S2TF Cams are the bottom set....gears not included

Thats weird; I couldn't find 2.2 cams on JBP's site, only 2.0 and 2.4.

Do you know what the advertised gains for these cams are?

I don't remember..........I have all the e-mails from JBP about trading these cams and he recoginized (sp) them and said they were the S2/TF L61 cams....I basically just got the run-around until JBP finally said the $200/stock cam return deal.

Here's one of the e-mails:

From: Information Repsonse [info@jbodyperformance.com]
Sent: Tuesday, July 24, 2007 2:08 PM
To: william.spinale@us.army.mil
Subject: Re: TriFlow Stage 2 Cams for an 06 Cobalt LSJ

Thats the Triflow grind. Can you contact Colt Cams concerning your issue
directly.

Basically, speak with Geoff, tell him the ordeal. Tell him that you
supposedly received L61 (2.2L ECOTEC) cams. He'll indicate what to do.

Thanks,
JBP

Jbp sounds like a crap place to deal with. I don't see why they don't just take them back and give you the proper ones. What kind of nos kit? Would you be interested in the hks 272 grind cams(they need shims) and ported head and ferrea valvetrain?
Did you get the darton sleaves done?

Spaz,

How the car running??? Mine seems fine....need a better tune....way toooooo rich. JBP pisses me off. I ended up just putting a new stock sleeve in it. I had the exhaust polished. I also had to clearance the head a little for the ferrea valvetrain.

I'm not sure what shims are....

As far as the Nitrous kit....I'm looking for a wet kit, adjustable but 100 shot should be sufficient.

Yes they are still FS. You don't need valve springs.

u dont need them, but i would recommend it. couldn't hurt. longer duration lift, and more wear, i would go with new valves if i were to swap cams.

HP difference will depend on your set-up. With the triflo design you will see HP increase throughout the powerband. So with your I/E setup you should feel a noticable difference. You don't need gears but they are a plus.

Dude...honestly I don't remember. The specs were written on the paper/manual I sent. Even worse than that, I JUST threw away all my docs and receipts for the stuff I had, less than a week ago!
