2008+ headlights

Looking for a good used clean pair of OEM headlights for a 2009 Cobalt SS.

Apparently 2005-2008 had either smoked lens or not.

2009-2010 only came with smoked.

I would like a pair of smoked.

Please let me know price shipped to 98270.

Thanks!

I have an 09 and they aren't smoked. Never seen stock headlights that were smoked, only clear.

They're smoked. Put ls and ss headlights side by side.

ss cars had smoked headlights from factory. they arent real dark, but noticable in a side x side. if your ss has clear headlights, they have been changed.

Your best bet is buying a pair of aftermarket headlights with OEM type housings. Cheaper and new.

Yes without a doubt there are two variations of headlights from GM on these cars.

Walking through the parking lot of a local grocery store spotted cobalt with clears so I took a pic of that one + mine for comparison.

As stated before, the difference isn't huge. They're not blacked out smoked but are definitely smoked.

I will upload pictures for those who don't believe.

Here's a screenshot of the part interchange when looking up a 2008 + yellow car with clears + my SS with smoked.

Notice that even the amber is different in them.

Please tell me again they're all the same?

I agree however this car is going for sale and I prefer to try and get things proper without spending more than needed.

My personal SS has depo projectors and I like them.

All SS headlights from 2005-2010 have a smoked lens on them.

Well if nothing else then this thread cleared up any confusion people may have had regarding the tint on our lenses!

I found a pair, thanks for all the input.
