these are a 9.5 condition and were coated in American gloss black just 4 months ago

Oh I do too, that's why I have a set, I was saying for him to skip the STR wheels and get the M52's

I'm kinda a wheel *****, 3 sets and if I get a good deal on another set of PF01's I'm going to get them.

Enkei Wheels - Performance Wheels - M52

both look too much like stock wheels, but are heavier, so that's a no go for me...

So then what wheels are you getting? Those were the only 18x8.5's I could find on that website in 5x110 and +30.

I don't like fake BBS wheels and I hate that pattern, open spokes just look so much nicer to my eye, you should try polishing the SS/TC wheels to change it up, I think you'll like them. Look up Donkeyballs car to see what it would look like.
