9k mile lhu part out

Hi all, just purchased a full engine from an 2013 Buick regal with 9k miles.

I basically just need the short block so everything from the valve cover to oil pan MINUS the short block is up for sale. Turbo, intake & exhaust manifolds, LHU cylinder head, valve cover and some misc. parts also. I'm happy to give away smaller items (you pay shipping) (hardware, hoses, piping etc...) let me know what you need. I check my email regularly, its the best way to get a hold of me. buyer pays shipping!

thank you

LHU head $300

LNF fuel injectors (3) and fuel rail (one broke while I was pulling it out) $100

intake & exhaust manifolds $65 each or $100 for both intake comes with factory map sensor and vent solenoid

timing set phasers, guides, chain, I know they are wear and tear items but 9k miles is practically new and takes all $100

GLWS

A couple of pieces of advice/thing's I'd do if I were you:

1. The oil pan holds 6 qts rather than 5 qts so I'd keep that from the LHU.
2. The belt tensioner is MUCH easier to move on the LHU vs the LNF. This is irrelevant if you have a rotated tensioner tool, but I don't so I'd keep the LHU tensioner.

As an FYI, I believe the exhaust manifold is different on the LHU vs LNF, causing the turbo to sit like 1/2 inch higher on the LHU, which would stress the flex pipe quite a bit more on the LNF setup. Just an FYI for someone wanting to swap that. If you've got both there you can verify, but I'm 90% sure I've seen a comparison picture somewhere.

Then the tensioner input is probably irrelevant as well

Just an FYI, the LHU anchor doesn't fit in the LNF head. If he has an LNF anchor then it's moot, just wanted to save some headaches.

Good question. I used two tie-down straps around the entire engine. Worked well, especially considering I didn't have a leveler.

I do have the anchors, I don't know where exninja is getting his info but I just looked at the lhu and the lnf heads, both have the same mounting holes for the anchors. however, I do need them this spring so they are not for sale

again, not sure where exninja is getting his info but just looked at both of the heads and all the mounting surfaces and the bolt holes are the same between lnf and lhu valve covers.

Mine had a dimple on the anchor and no place in the head. The only way to use it would have been to drill a hole in the head. I could take a picture if you or I cared enough.

I assumed that the vacuum pump caused a large difference, but that may be incorrect. Sorry.

My anchors were definitely different for LHU and LNF. But that looks moot anyways.
