This. They don't just bolt right on to your car.

U mean the lnf brembos dont bolt right up right? But the conversion kit has all you need?

Oh and op i dont think your stock ss supercharged wheels will clear the brembos just so u dont bolt the kit up and find that out the hard way

Right, you need the conversion kit and wheels that will clear.

SC wheels will clear brembos with a 5mm spacer. At least they will on the LNF, don't know if an LSJ with the conversion would be any different.

CED says in the kit 5mm spacers are an option along with banjo bolts so I'm guessing you need them unless you have aftermarket wheels that would fit an LNF or LNF wheels.

The SS/SC wheels will fit with a 5mm spacer.the calipers just dont bolt right on.You have to take apart the hub and install a spacer so the pads will wear evenly and you have to change the lines as well the LSJ lines are too short. It will be cheaper and less time consuming in most cases to just buy the setup from CED. It containes the lines, rotors, hub spacers, brake lines, the pads, and attachment hardware, and the brembo calipers(my calipers came pre assembled with the pads and pins already installed).

This may be a cheaper alternative also. Dual piston Baer Bear Claw set up for 05+ SS's $663.75 for the whole kit. Never heard of anyone using this kit on a Cobalt but they are amazing on 'Vettes and Camaro's etc

Thank you, I love them. The paint job is flawless. Thanks to Powell.

@ Simpalee: Also, he sells the kit if you can't find them used, at a good price. However, I chose to get mine powdercoated, and of course, that's always extra lol. He even gave them to me fully assembled with everything on them ready to install. Awsome guy.

in one sentence you say the paint job is flawless. In the next sentence you say they're powder coated.

which is it?

lol@sox fan. In fact I have a new caliper ready to send out to Marc, one didnt turn out right. Some of these colors are really hard, to coat. And to keep clean? To keep the wild colors clean I use and recommend Sonax wheel cleaner. Thats the only wheel cleaner other than soap and water I would use.

I must admit, I am a fan of a monochromatic white car...I think some early 80's BMW anf Vdub were the first to be into that sort of paint scheme. Even wiper blades, which didnt make sense to me as they sort of disappear into the windshield when they are black.

Marc drives his car in the winter as well which is a tough deal for a car, this winter , for sure.

this is a rare moment I'll disagree with you. Well, I'm not sure about the 2.2 guys, but if you're an lsj or 2.4, they'll bolt right up. I'm assuming as long as you have the 5x110 bolt pattern they will.

Oh, and I do have a pair with the discs; but I'm just not sure I'm wanting to part with them. Shoot me a price shipped, and I might say yes, or no

I think you need larger rotars for the brembos the 2.4 and s/c have a smaller diameter rotar than the t/c brembo rotar

They do just bolt up to any of the LSJ 2.2 or 2.4

You obviously need the right stuff to make it work. But there's no extreme modifying involved.

You need the calipers, brake lines, hub spacer, and rotors.

The rotors will have to be drilled to 4x100 since they only come in 5x110, or you can hub swap, which is what I'm doing because I want 5x114.3 so i'll be re drilling the 5x110 hubs to that size, and at the same time, the rotors to 5x114.3 as well.

Remember once you do this upgrade you can only run 17's minimum.

And I'm not sure if you can actually redrill the 5x110 rotor to 4x100 since one of the bolt holes will end up being oval...This would be a question for Powell.

@Powell : PM me or email me with price on hubs PLZ! I got the loot.

you can redrill the rotor to 4 x 100 it doesnt matter much for the rotors/ hubs would be bad news, would not work the stud would not be capable of being retained.
just in the middle of the hub bearing deal / shipment delayed with this weather so will redrill friday/monday time frame i hope. Gloria will get in touch. I will wait and ship bearings together with one caliper then cheers
