Carbon Fiber Hood

Carbon Fiber Camaro SS style hood. Surface/paint in good condition, hood is bleached from sun though. Hood is perfectly fine except for bleaching.

$225 pickup, or add actual shipping

(I have no idea how much it is to fix or how you fix it, so please dont ask)

See those blotchy spots?

The fiber itself bleached.

It hasn't broken down in any way( I make the stuff where I work)

It needs to be painted is all.

The fibers are reactive to UV lighting, they are normally blackish but when they are exposed to a certain degree of UV lighting(the sun in this case) they turn white, when you get a CF hood you need to clear coat it, they come completely raw/primered.

You can get rid of the bleaching if you wet sand it and buff it. i do it to mine twice a year.

It is functional for ram air as the under side of the hood has ductwork and a "drop spot" for the air, however it will not work with ss/scs since we have cold air, 2.2s is on the other side of the car, not sure on 2.4s

2-300 to have it sanded and then clearcoated, most expensive part being the clear coat

No idea. Probably same amount or a little more than it would take to prep and repaint a steel hood.
