Question Center piece for steering wheel...

im trying to find something i can put on the part where the chevy symbol was on the center of the steering wheel. i had to rip mine out because it was all dented in. I saw on here a while ago these things sumone was selling, they are just a vinyl sticker or something with a clear type apoxy or something to give it that "raised" look. these were like the "SS" symbol or even said "COBALT" i dont seem to see them on here nemore.

I heard i would have to buy the whole airbag if i wanted that chevy symbol...but i really just wanted the "SS". right now its just a empty circle with diaganol lines & its just not pretty

If neone knows what im talking about could u please point me in the right direction lol...

THANX

Your best bet might be to try and find one in a junk yard and pry it off with a flat head.

I tried to get one from the dealership and they said I would have to buy the whole air bag/horn assembly.

Good luck.

What do you mean four pieces? Do you have three extras?

Hope you don't mind me asking but do you know what size you ordered?

Also did you pop your stock one off before putting this new one on?

I wanna say 2 7/16" but I would measure just in case.

I did take the stock one off cause I thought it'd be flat but it wasn't so if I'd leave it on

I just ordered 4 of them. I got them Black with Red lettering.

Not sure if your car is black or blue? If your interested let me know. I already have 2 people asking for one each.

Mines an 07 but I am almost sure that 05-07 are the same. As well as 08-10.

Not 100% but they look the same to me.

Mine that are Black with Red "SS" lettering will be here this week. I'll post a quick how to. You just pop your stock one with the chevy emblem off with a flat head. I'll use some 3M double sided think tape to hold it on.

LOL. This looks like fun.

I'll probably tape the air bag up just so I don't scratch the hell out of it.

Hope it doesn't take over half an hour... How long did it take you?

The 05-06 one apparently pops off easy. It's the 07+ that is on there pretty bad. Speaking of, whatever happened to 24design's 05-06 airbag emblems?
