Chicago - 2 12" Polk Audio w/ box, xplod and capacitor! BARELY USED!
Hey all.
I'm posting on here a basically brand spankin new subwoofer set up. Its really sweet and pounds like you wouldn't believe! No distortion, no rattle from the box, just pure, mellow, rumbly bass. the only reason i dont want the f*** out of these is because i dont wanna weigh down my car with subs
It's my friends set up that he bought less than a year ago, ran for about a month then had to get rid of his car. all it needs to work is wires!
what were workin with:
2 Polk Audio 12" Subwoofers, i think 500 rms and 800 peak each
They came with a brand new box made specifically for them, about 2' deep idk though with padded center hole for breathing. no 'air distortion' that i could hear.
1000 watt Sony Xplod amp. i know, xplod sucks but hey it works and doesn't overpower the subs.
and a monster capacitor to top it all off.
like i said it was all bought brand new and used for probly a month. Cost in the ballpark of $1000 or so.

sorry about the price guys.... 1200 system roughly, figured somewhere between 6-800 was a good price considering how little these were used.

AND bump! maybe i need to get better info on these... like i said they are I THINK around 500 watts a sub, 1000 watt amp, but they pound harder than almost anything i've heard in a while! might be the box, idk but they do great.
