Cobalt Car PC for sale!
Cobalt Car PC for sale!
I am selling my CarPC.
I have decided that I need the money for other things, and
am willing to part with it to help raise funds.
I am selling the entire setup-PC with integrated shutdown controller/power supply, 8.4" Touchscreen with custom molded bezel, wires, wifi adapter, bluetooth adapter, Centrafuse 2.0 license, etc.
I have had this installed in my car for a few months now, and the only issue with it is a very small chip on the edge of the bezel, which can be sanded, prepped and painted very easily. It also is very quiet, and I would probably buy a $25 dollar line driver off ebay to install inline on the RCA's (The wiring included is the factory metra plug/adapter.
The bezel is silver, close but not a perfect match for the SS/SC, but will fit the stock 'balts as well, just paint the bezel black.
Any questions please ask and/or look at the pictures below.

$400 dollars or best offer.

Yes, it can run HPTuners.
It's a 1.6GHz Intel Atom Processor, with 1GB Ram, and a 160 GB hard drive
(partitioned to seperate Windows XP from the media friles in case it needs to be reformatted.
The USB VGA Touchscreen is 8.4"
It is currently running www.centrafuse.com Centrafuse 2.0, which controls your MP3's, Navigation (still needs 35 dollar USB Navigation antenna)
Has a Bluetooth dongle and software integrated into Centrafuse, so you can make and recieve phonecalls with your cell phone in your pocket.
Any other questions let me know.

Yes, it has a usb wifi adapter that can run up to the rear deck for better reception.
You can set it up you email, and it will check it when in range of wifi and read them to you with the press of a finger.
You can also use one of those usb cell data modems for latops with it.

Thanks for saying so.
I want to get this sold off fairly quickly, but
the software license alone for Centrafuse ran 60-70 dollars,
the computer ran around 300, and the screen normally ran around 250.
Not to mention that this screen/bezel just snaps into the factory radio location
without having to mess with mounting/aligning.

Maetrix's setup is great, i really hate to see that he's getting rid of his to try and free up some cash.
if Mae is really letting all this go for 500 or so, you folks with cash should jump all over it. only one upgrade away from making AVIC owners feel obsolete.
i would suggest any potential buyers should consider their skills in Windows etc. rare you'll ever need to enter the Windows interface, but sometimes its inevitable.

you can find it all online, but the custom manner in which maetrix fit in the bigger monitor would require molding it in yourself.
lets just say maetrix is selling it so cheaply that i almost wanna smack him. hahaha
