I've been cleaning the mating surface up, will check it with the level and a feeler gauge tomorrow morning, im working till 2 Am today

Got the head surface all cleaned up. took my level to it and a .003 Feeler gauge. cant ge tthe feeler gauge under the level. so it seems to me the head is fine. i did this in a few different directions.
