haha no nah man all u need is the ic and i uses factory location points/bolts to hold it in place...
u dont need em but i rrecomend t bolt clamps for it...

it's a great intercooler...my only quirk about it was the mounting brackets. But if you're mechanically inclined and have a welder, that shouldn't be a big deal.
