Diamond forged pistons LSJ and 2.2 ecotech

For sale brand new, never installed Diamond LSJ piston kit, 10103, Will also fit the 2.2 ecotec Never been installed, was bought three months ago, comes with Total Seal Rings, new C Clips, and Wrist Pins. They were taken out of the box by the machine shop for measuring, but when they started honing the cylinders on my block, they were 200 thousands of in inch over the tolerence, and still had waves in the bore. So I am selling these and going .020 over, They are stock bore, 10.0 to 1 compression. Brand new they were almost 700 shipped, trying to sell them for 550 shipped.

I say these will fit the 2.2 ecotec, because I did a little reasearch from the number and they came up for a 2.2 ecotec, so I did some more digging, and from what I found out, the lsj and 2.2 ecotec share the same block for the most part, the lsj block has a few updates to it over the 2.2, but they have the same bore at 86mm, the lsj has a 86 mm stroke, and the 2.2 has a 94.6 mm stroke, the rods are different too from what i gather from that, I don't have the actuall measurements for them yet, I"m still looking for that. but the pin ends are the same, so these will work in the 2.2 ecotec as well as the LSJ

PM or call or text 785-226-3741 if interested, I can ship the same day as payment is made.

stock compression ratio is 9.5:1. So are they 10.5:1, or 9.5:1?

edit: sorry I read that wrong. But they are indeed 10.5:1, correct?

damn, i was hoping the 10 was the typo. Someone had dropped your name in my thread, and I was hoping they were wrong about the compression ratio as well.

Just what I'm looking for, but unfortunately like the others the compression ratio is way too high for the boost I'll be pushing.

i dont see how these would work on a 2.2 as the rod lenghts are dif between the two engines

Same bore 86 mm, when I looked up the part number it actually said 2.2, and all the reasearch I seen is actually showing they have shorter rods, but a longer stroke, the LSJ has a 86mm bore, and 86mm stroke, and the 2.2 has a 86mm bore with a 94.6mm stroke, but the 2.2 runs a shorter rod put still has the same pistons with the pin hole in the same spot from the top of the bore.

Will NOT fit 2.2 without custom rods. Different wristpin diameter.
Glws.

bore = 86mm
compression height = 26.75mm
wrist pin diameter = 20mm
stroke = 94.6mm
rod length = 146.5mm
rod ratio = 1.54:1
total bottom end height = 220.55

LSJ
bore = 86mm
compression height = 30.86mm
wrist pin diameter = 23mm
stroke = 86mm
rod length = 145.5mm
rod ratio = 1.69:1
total bottom end height = 219.35mm

If they are indeed LSJ pistons i may be interested need a second set for backup engine

they are, they were bought from turbo tech racing for my buddies LSJ build, but as I explained we kinda jumped the gun on ordering the pistons before the block was honed, honest mistake, but its kinda sucks now, its just not alot of people are looking for 10.0 to 1 compression in a boosted car. but looking at the numbers you posted, and what I've reasearched, they will fit in either engine, just a little more machine work on the 2.2 side, so if your interested send me a pm or text my phone, I really do need them gone so I can order his new pistons

they are indeed LSJ pistons im the one who actually purchased them...i had the engine built prior and blew a sleeve so i decided to up the compression ratio...i bought the pistons before the block went in since i was jus replacing the sleeve and unaware of the waves in the wall..my mistake should have waited..but i bought them from TTR and worked directly with aaron off this site..i can assure you they are LSJ
