I am a nice guy I guess. I make trades on here often, but from now on I am going to require a cash deposit for my trades. Sucks, but I got lucky this time and do not want to chance it in the future.

I work for FedEx... If you don't receive parts within a week then I would most certainly begin to worry. After two weeks I would file complaint and resolve the problem through PayPal. I've shipped a lot of stuff and none of it has ever taken over a week... Including an exhaust to virginia (3days) turbo to Canada ( just shy of a week). I always ship ground at at the cheapest price possible. I would begin your dispute with paypal.

I am in this thread for no other reason than to agree with this post and express my loudly exclaimed "****!" when I see my items shipped through smartpost.

I do not use smart post... I go to the FedEx/kinko's shipping place like everyone else would and ask for the cheapest shipping via ground or express. If you get the item there and in the system before 6pm it should get picked up that very day and start the shipping process. All I am saying is at the cheapest cost and ground... the longest it should take a package to get anywhere is NO MORE than 2 weeks especially if they said they shipped it already. tracking is provided on all reciepts. There's no excuses. I'd give a day or two after payment for the person to box up the part and get it to the fedex store.

Quite frankly... I dont even know what smart post is. I work in a customized accounts department dealing with all international freight and big corporations. I just input info for customs to clear freight into the US. So I don't deal with any packages or domestic freight, but from my own experience of shipping a ton of stuff over the last 5 years, any longer than 2 weeks and you got duped.

Here's an example... Just sold a cluster gauge pod... Shipping it from Buffalo, NY to Lynden, WA... Ground. Says estimated delivery... 4 business days.

Good to see things cleared up... But that just shows people may want to steer away from that character.

It's always a crap shoot when dealing with people over the net. I find if you meet someone personally, the less chance they are of screwing you over.

Car is a different thing. Most times they're just trying to unload thir issue to someone else. The way people threat their vehicles nowadays, I'm inclined to buy new any time I buy a car now. At least I'd know what I am dealing with. Sucks about how you got screwed though

I sell used phones and other things, but only stuff that I would buy and at competitive deals. I don't screw people around because I know how it feels. The ones that get me are the ones who practically ask you to pay them for taking stuff off your hands even though your asking price is right in the ballpark with others.

Also got my pulley today we can close this up now. Seller was late on shipping out until we started a dispute and he quickly shipped to us. He had stuff going on thats understandable. Just remeber to communicate people it makes all the confusion easygoing. Thats all.

Still. Don't sell **** if you aren't willing to turn around in a timely manner. Glad this is solved.
